Legal Bar Ceremony 2022

Year 12 student Jesse Ramsay has been recognised by the Victorian Bar and Hume City Council for his academic excellence in Legal Studies.

For this he has been awarded $1500 towards his future studies. On Friday 24 June 2022 Jesse, accompanied by his mother, Assistant Principal (Later Years) Mr. Michael Watson and Legal Studies teacher Ms. Sophie Stewart attended the Victorian Bar Foundation Student Achievement Award Ceremony at the Richard Griffith Library (part of the Law Library of Victoria) located in Melbourne’s CBD. The ceremony was attended by the Victorian Bar Foundation Chairman, the Honourable Justice John Digby, High Court Justice the Honourable Michelle Gordon AC and the Mayor of Hume City, Cr Carly Moore. In announcing the successful students, High Court Justice the Honourable Michelle Gordon AC commented, “The awards recognise hard work, ability and potential. We all look forward to seeing what these students do in the future and, no less importantly, how they do it — in the law and in society.”
