The ERC acts as the information centre of the school. It provides a learning environment which not only supports the curriculum, but encourages life-long learning in our students. Information literacy and ICT literacy are key targets to develop our students as critical users of information in the 21st century. Our role is to encourage them to be responsible digital citizens. The rewards of reading are reflected by an appreciation of literature and enthusiasm for reading for leisure.
The ERC provides a wide range of multimodal resources that students can access during class time, recess, lunchtime, before and after school. The ERC has 20 computers all providing access to the internet, online databases, the Microsoft Office suite of programs and all programs provided by the Edustar image. Students are welcome to spend their time, researching, working of tasks, making a selection from our extensive range of new fiction releases or indulging in a game of chess.

8:30 am – 12:50pm
1:00pm – 4:30pm
During these times, students may use any of the resources in the ERC.
Classes may be booked into the ERC by their subject teachers. The ERC is one of the most pleasant and ‘user friendly’ areas of the school.
